For many season's now we've seen round toed, platform heels. Not only are they more comfortable than the regular stiletto, they also give us bit more height. Lately though, my eye is starting to really like more of a pointy toe. It's feminine and edgy at the same time. Whether worn with your skinny's, a pencil skirt, or peeping out of the coming trend of longer wider legs, the pointy pump is a cool addition. Now, don't go out and throw away all your round toed shoes, but maybe it's time to add a companion. xoxo

Let's Bette!
I've been hymning and hawing over J Brand Bette for a while now. If we're talking about the 70's, these jeans don't get any more retro. There are days I'm in love with them, then there are days that I say "no way". Either way, they definitely have a "cool" about them. Wether worn with a tucked in blouse (like their campaign photo), or with the ever popular nautical striped tank top, these jeans have a laid back sexy that fit into any closet. You be the judge...xoxo
btw...they run big, so size down.

Summer White
![]() |
| Classic blazer |
We're finally in full swing of Summer. The hot days and warm nights are begging for light, comfortable clothing. I love white, especially for this season. There's an etherial sophistication, for both men and women, when wearing white. For summer keep the fabrics light. Linens and soft cottons are the best options for laid back bbq's and long beach days. I would forgo spending a lot of money on any maxi or mini dress. If you're looking for a forever white piece to add to your wardrobe, go with a classic cut blazer. Other than that, stick with H&M, Forever 21 and Zara's for white trend shopping. xoxo

Dean Harris Jewelry...
An old friend of mine, (not by age, but by time) started his own jewelry company in 1998, Dean Harris Jewelry. When I first met Dean we were very young trying to find our paths in life. One thing I can say for sure is that he has an incredible work ethic and an amazing heart. I love to see people succeed in where their passions lie and wanted to share his talent with you.
His pieces have a very organic, simple esthetic, with a little bit of an edge. He's grown to have a huge following, celebrities, magazine editors and upscale department stores have all clamored for his pieces and i'm very proud to say, I knew him when. Well done Dean. xoxo

Classic Style

I came across these old photographs from the 70's, and with the revival of that era, I thought it would be appropriate to share. Every one of these photos is relevant today. Whether it be a tee with a blazer and a pair of wide leg jeans or a simple blouse, chambray or not, a classic piece will stand the test of time. Remember to think in terms of building your wardrobe. Knowing where to spend your money will save you in the long run. xoxo

Happy Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day to all you loved dads. Especially to my dad, who taught me how to think, create and speak for myself, and to my amazing husband for being such an incredible model for our little boy...xoxo
