My latest obsession is Pink!  I am not a girlie girl by any means, but my closet is screaming for a pink Chanel something;). xoxo

A little bit of GP!

There was a tweet earlier today that stated "September issues aren't complete without at least 1 Gwyneth cover".  That's probably true, she's become such a fashion icon without even knowing herself becoming one.  Gwyneth truly embodies the modern woman.  Not only is she a loving wife and mother, she has managed to keep her acting career, start up a music one and throw in entrepreneur for good measure.  All in making it look like it's just another day.  She inspires me to keep going after what I love, and I encourage you to go after what you love...xoxo

My Father's Daughter

Gwyneth Paltrow is releasing her latest cookbook, My Father's Daughter, it's a compilation of family recipes and personal anecdotes.  She advocates togetherness and the importance of family very wittingly through this cleaver cookbook.

Gwyneth has really come into her own since becoming a mother, and the loss of her father has impacted her in a way that only the one's that have lost can understand.  Her growth as an actress is filled with so much richness and her personal style reflects the ease and comfort her energy radiates.  She gives women a great role model on how we can have it all.  She makes being a wife, mother and business woman look like an effortless joy.  Although we all know the hard work that is behind keeping it all together, it's great to see strong, powerful women living the dream.  xoxo

Oscar Worthy!

Calvin Klein
With the Oscars barely 2 hours old, we're already seeing and hearing the buzz on who killed it, and/ or which celebrity stylist should be killed!  Although the show itself had a lot to be desired for, there were a few standouts that deserve a mention.  Here are my favorites.  Hope you agree! xoxo

Military!!

There's been a huge push this year in military inspired fashions.  At the beginning of spring into summer we saw J brand explode with their army green cargo pants.  Now as we're heading into fall we're starting to see different variations, maybe even more flattering, of the same vibe.  Recently, many celebrities have been wearing Current/Elliott's version of military fatigues.  What's nice about them is that they're a relaxed fit with no pockets.  They're worn low on the waist but slightly tapper toward the ankle so that you can wear them out to dinner with a blazer and heels.  Military isn't for everyone, not everyone likes the depressing colors of olive green and brown, but I like that's it's an alternative to always wearing jeans.  Hope you like....ooh rah...xoxo

August Vogue

The new Vogue magazine hits newsstands this week.  Although I'm not a huge fan of Gwyneth Paltrow, she looks beautiful on the cover.  Her website/blog goop.com is a really great site.  She shares different parts of herself along with personal favorites and anecdotes she lives by.  Gwyneth has a relaxed, chic style about her and with raising two kids she manages to always look fresh and effortlessly comfortable.  She doesn't always seem to come off graciously in the press, but she has become one of our american icons.  And everyone is entitled to have bad days.  xoxo
