New Beginnings...Show and Tell Me.com

After a couple of years of blogging for a hobby, and really enjoying sharing ideas, I've decided to expand my blog to a website that reflects who I am, not only in a physical style, but in sharing more personal ideas and goings on.

Sequins and Baseballs was an experiment.  I started it, per my husbands encouragement, with the hopes of "unsticking" myself and finding my passion.  In the process I found a second love in exploring fashion, style and creative living. I'm excited about this next phase and where Show and Tell Me is going.   I look forward to this journey and I hope that you continue to come along through your path of exploration and discovery.

Show and Tell Me is at it's beginning stages of building.  There is still growth and shape to take place.   I'm hopeful, that not only, the site be an informative and fashionably inspirational stop, but also a forum to Show and Tell.

Thank you all for the support! xoxo http://showandtellme.com/

Kelly Wearstler

We all know Kelly Wearstler for her amazing style and eye in the world of interior design.  But now she's trying her hand at fashion.  Her collection consists of beautiful fabric pieces, bold jewelry, leather clutches and scarves, all with a great point of view and incredibly chic.  I admire women like Kelly, not only is she an amazing business woman, she manages to balance family and fun with just as much creativity. I've found some pictures of Kelly "in action", I love how she looks effortlessly "cool".  xoxo

Street Style, Skirts!

Love leather with anything feminine.
Skirts of all shapes and sizes have made themselves known again.  And it's never been so evident as it has been during Paris fashion week.  I love the playfulness that a skirt can bring.  Paired with leather, a fur or just some amazing heels, can stir up the monotony of the ever safe pant.  J'adore Paris! xoxo
My favorite look...love the booties!

Crazy for Radziwill

Lauren Santo Domingo profiled Devon Radziwill's apartment for Vogue.com this month.  Devon lives on Crosby St, which is a quite street about 5 blocks long in downtown Manhattan, SoHo to be exact.  This apartment is amazing.  The open space, the natural light and all of the earthy elements she incorporates makes this living space a perfect combination of downtown cool with uptown elegance.  I'm obsessed with the concrete floors and zebra print rugs.  I might be up for some re-decorating;).  xoxo

Green With Envy!

Chanel with leather...Perfect!
The holidays are fast approaching.  Rosh Hashanah (starting Wednesday) is the beginning of it all and with this festive season comes excuses to buy festive clothes.  It's no secret that color is ruling right now, but sifting through all the choices can be anything but holiday cheer"ific".

Emerald green is one of my favorite color choices.  Not only does it look good on a variety of women, changing the style from conservative to edgy is a simple task with green.  Adding leather to a great evening dress can take you from uptown to downtown, as well as adding an ivory silk blouse with a great trouser can do the same reversed.  Either way emerald green is a chic choice to getting noticed.  xoxo

Cover Up!

Not only are coats a trend, Vive le rouge!
Statement coats are just one of the top trends for fall 2011.  And honestly, probably one of my favorites.  This is one of those accessories that when purchased with some thought behind it, will last you a lifetime.  I know that some of the heavy wool and tweed textiles are beautiful and tempting, but if you're living in sunny So.Ca, that statement piece might only being talking to you from the closet.  Of course, my east coast friends have the opposite to think about.

When purchasing coats or jackets, remember their function.  Short, long, fur or leather, they all play a specific role.   I'd say go ahead on a splurge, but be mindful in your mindset.  xoxo
My ultimate splurge.  Celine motorcycle jacket

London Street Style

Photograph The Cut
London fashion week is well on it's way.  We've seen some amazing shows specifically from Burberry Prorsum, Pringle of Scotland and Matthew Williamson.  We're seeing so much color, everything from the brightest of oranges to the most electric blues.  So beautiful and wearable.  As fun as it is to see what the designers are putting out, I love more, watching what's going on outside the shows.   Street style is what I like seeing the most of.  How people express their individual point of view through clothes is what I find inspiring.  Being fearless and unapologetic is what it's all about.  The dogs have even managed to get in on the action.  xoxo

Inside Tory Burch

Tory Burch takes us on a behind the scenes look of what fashion week is all about.  I love how beautiful, relaxed and colorful everything looks.  Collaborating with her designers, planners and PR people, takes about a year to bring the 20 minutes we see to fruition.  Although the chaos of fashion week is like no other, you would never know it by looking at Tory Burch's team.  xoxo
